Products Overview
The Safety technology is a component of all SIGMATEK’s complete automation systems. All Safety modules, such as S-DIAS Safety controllers and I/Os, as well as drives with Safety functions are seamlessly integrated into the entire system.

Head station of the DIAS Drive 100 system (1-8 axes) Operated with 3-phase 230-480 V AC with 3 kVA rated power STO "Safe Torque Off" and SS1 "Safe Stop 1" (TÜV-certified) Excellent servo performance via the smallest controller cycle times (62.5 µs) 8 digital capture inputs for recording the actual position The MDP 101-1 power module is used for communication with the control and communication with connected axis modules over the bus. A real-time Ethernet VARAN interface is provided, Safety input, regen resistor and power filter are integrated. A DC link connection allows the coupling of additional servo drive systems.

10 safe digital inputs (+24 V DC/3.7 mA/0.5 ms) Doubled clock output signal (short circuit proof) SIL 3/PL e, Cat. 4 So that inputs can be tested and crossed circuits can be detected, 2 non-safe signal outputs, TA and TB, are provided. To use the SDI 101 in an application, a Safety CPU module is required. For the S-DIAS system, EPLAN Macros are available for simple integration into the control cabinet.
SDM 081 –
6 safe digital inputs (+24 V DC/3 mA/0.5 ms) 2 safe digital outputs (+24 V DC/2 A) Doubled clock output signal (short circuit proof) SIL 3/PL e, Cat. 4 So that inputs can be tested and crossed circuits can be detected, 2 non-safe signal outputs, TA and TB, are provided. SNC 021 –
Provides values from 2 incremental encoders (up to 12 bits), Safety and standard CPU SIL 3/PL e, Cat. 4 Detection of various error types, such as cable break, cross circuit ... To use the SNC 021 in an application, a Safety CPU module is required. For the S-DIAS system, EPLAN Macros are available for simple integration into the control cabinet.

2 safe relay outputs (max. +30 V DC/6 A) Closing (NO) SIL 3/PL e, Cat. 4 To use the SRO 021 in an application, a Safety CPU module is required. For the S-DIAS system, EPLAN Macros are available for simple integration into the control cabinet.
SRO 022 –

SSI 021 –
Provides values from 2 SSI absolute value encoders (up to 32 bits), Safety and standard CPU Safe monitoring of the speed, position and absolute value violation SIL 3/PL e, Cat. 4 The 2-channel Safety function is implemented by processing the position values in the Safety core (2 micro controllers with cross communication). To use the SSI 021 in an application, a Safety CPU module is required. For the S-DIAS system, EPLAN Macros are available for simple integration into the control cabinet.
