BASES

Series Overview

2500 Series® Bases provides slots for a Power Supply and Remote Base Controller (RBC), and various numbers of I/O modules.  A variety of different mounting base options in both Classic and Compact form factors provide flexibility for many local and remote configurations.  NEW 2500P bases include the new CTI high-speed channel for installation of Advanced Function Modules.

2500 Series - Classic, CTI

2500-R11-A Eleven-Slot Redundant

The 2500-R11-A provides eleven for industrial I/O in the 2500 Series® platform. The rack provide space two power supplies and two RBCs in a redundant configuration. Mounting may be achieved by front or rear mounting hardware.

2500-SSB Single Slot

The 2500-SSB is used to cover unused slots in the I/O base keep out debris and maintain proper airflow.

2500P-R16 Sixteen-Slot Base

The 2500P-R16 provides sixteen slots for industrial I/O in the 2500 Series® platform. The rack provide space for a 3-slot wide power supply, a dual-wide CPU or Remote Base Controller (RBC), and slots for up to 16 I/O modules.  In addition it provides a bottom connector row for high-speed communications with CTI Advanced Function Modules

2500P-R4 Four-Slot Base

The 2500P-R4 provides four slots for industrial I/O in the 2500 Series® platform. The rack provide space for a 3-slot wide power supply, a dual-wide CPU or Remote Base Controller (RBC), and slots for up to 4 I/O modules. In addition it provides a bottom connector row for high-speed communications with CTI Advanced Function Modules.

2500P-R8 Eight-Slot Base

The 2500P-R8 provides eight slots for industrial I/O in the 2500 Series® platform. The rack provides space for a 3-slot wide power supply, a dual-wide CPU or Remote Base Controller (RBC), and slots for up to 8 I/O modules.  In addition it provides a bottom connector row for high-speed communications with CTI Advanced Function Modules.

2500 Series - Compact, CTI

2500C-R16 Sixteen-Slot Base

The 2500C-R16 Base provides slots for a Power Supply and Remote Base Controller (RBC), and 16 I/O slots for Compact IO modules.  The chassis design allows for rear panel or subpanel mounting. The backplane provides power to all the modules and communications between the RBC and I/O slots.  In addition it provides a high-speed data exchange bus which supports all the Compact System’s advanced modules and coprocessor modules.  The high-speed data bus includes the RBC and first 8 I/O slots, and is integrated into the connector on each slot.

2500C-R4 Four-Slot Base

The 2500C-R4 Base provides slots for a Power Supply and Remote Base Controller (RBC), and 4 I/O slots for Compact IO modules.  The chassis design allows for subpanel mounting. The backplane provides power to all the modules and communications between the RBC and I/O slots.  In addition it provides a high-speed data exchange bus which supports all the Compact System’s advanced modules and coprocessor modules.  The high-speed data bus includes the RBC and all 4 I/O slots, and is integrated into the connector on each slot.
